Learning is the main objective of any parent for sending the child, in either normal school or boarding school. Then what is the difference between these two learnings?

There could be many reasons to go to boarding school. The academics and extracurricular activities are key considerations of schools and parents. Why should we send our child to boarding school? Boarding school is a recurrent learning process, in which your child will learn something at every instance of time.

All schools work hard to educate their students and prepare them for successful future.  When learning comes to boarding school versus private day school, they can have many similarities but the process of learning can also be very different. Usually, schools are meant for academic and further activities, but some silent things which can be learnt in boarding schools without having any idea of learning.

Disciplined Life:

In boarding schools, basic routine is followed strictly. Due to the same routine from early morning to late night, the child will learn to be in the discipline with fun. For everyone there is a fixed routine then there is no regret of tight and fixed schedule.

Sharing and Caring:

As everyone is away from family, then students are each other’s family. Sharing and caring becomes their habit as they stand for each other. It will help your child in becoming open to making new friends. Especially if your child is shy or self-conscious.

Problem Solving Attitude:

Since your child is not with family so he has to face daily life’s challenges on his own. He may take suggestions from friends but at last, the decision will be his only. It will improve his decision making power and generate to take decision making attitude.

Cultural Knowledge:

Boarding school is a place where every second child is from a different culture. By staying with them your child will come to know about various cultures and able to understand cultural values.

Family Bonding:

It’s normal for your child to feel homesick when he is away for school. When you will be visiting time to time to your child, he can feel your strong love and care. Which will help to reduce homesickness and will make strong bonding with your child.

Time Management:

The most important thing which your child will learn unknowingly is “Time Management”. As they are in school they need to prioritize work and finish them within time.  They will learn planning and execute work.
