Velammal Ponneri is co-ed English medium boarding school in Tamil Nadu, India. It offers quality education from LKG to 12th std, though, state board and Cambridge education curriculum.
Velammal Ponneri began modestly in the year 2003 with a dashing strength of 763 students in the very first year of inception and has witnessed pride and satisfaction with the steady progress of the school from a mere strength to a mighty institution with 7233 young minds stimulated by 331 staff members.
School Campus Information
The school is located on beautiful 5.7 landscaped acres just within 30 km from Chennai on the Kolkata National High Road, Ponneri. The school stands amidst flowering trees and radiates its excellencies all around attracting the society who seek better education for their children the delightful atmosphere of the campus, makes it an ideal place for quality education.
The administration, academics, library, laboratories, recreation, activity, and hostel are all housed in separate buildings on this aesthetically pleasing campus. The large play area allows students to relax and enjoy themselves.
The campus has a modern hostel for boys and girls, each with an atmosphere conducive to the student’s mental, physical, and spiritual development in the utmost safety and comfort. Dormitories at Velammal Matric. the hostel is shared by students from classes VI to XII. Our dedicated wardens, in addition to caring for students, ensure discipline, groom, and counsel them as needed.
All Indian festivals are celebrated with zeal and zeal for the benefit of students who are unable to return home during these festivals. On such occasions, traditional food in keeping with the culinary tastes of the region is prepared and served to the students. The hostels have laundry, a food court, an uninterrupted power supply, a medical facility, and clean water 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students can talk to their parents on the phone twice a week. Everything is done to ensure that their stay at the hostel is truly enjoyable and pleasant.
