Co-educational day-and-residential school The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur is a part of the Indian Public Schools Conference and is connected with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi (IPSC). Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur was founded on August 4, 1972, and is a stand-alone institution.

Three academic buildings with the most recent technology are located on the 40-acre school property, together with two large playing grounds. The school houses spacious classrooms equipped with smart boards, a well-stocked library, well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry, and biology, an auditorium, an indoor games room, a cafeteria and dining hall, and an infirmary. The school campus also hosts huge playgrounds for sports such as football, basketball, cricket, etc.

Entry level-

• Notification regarding the admission and age criteria will be published in the newspaper.
• Parents will have to submit the application forms for their wards.
• Shortlisting of the children will be done based on the drawing of lots.
• A medical test will be conducted on the shortlisted candidates.
• The final selection list will then be published, and the parents will be invited to complete the formalities of admission.

 

Other classes-

• For other classes, admission is subject to availability of seats.
• First, the parents will have to fill a provisional form.
• Selection will be done based on the draw of lots. Selection for class 9 is done based on an entrance test held by the school.
• Selected candidates are required to apply form released later by the school and submit it along with the important documents.
• Admission will then be granted after the verification of documents.

Class XI-

• At first, interested parents/ students will have to apply form.
• Students are selected on the based-on marks in the ICSE board exams.
• For students coming from other boards, the entrance exam is conducted.
