- The dormitory at the school is divided into two blocks for boys and girls. The beds, cabinets, tables, and chairs are of common design in the rooms. The school provides bedding.
- The environment of the hostel is made comfortable by the number of restrooms, hot water, R.O. drinking water, light and spacious courtyards, and indoor badminton courts.
- Each of the hostel blocks has a central dining hall with tables and chairs that can accommodate 250 students at once. It offers an innovative, spotless, and roomy pantry run by our catering division, which offers high-standard cuisine supplied in accordance with the weekly menu plan.
- Wardens have been assigned to look after the kids. The security guards are on duty day and night to ensure hostel security. The students’ hygiene and cleanliness are given special attention. All of the guests are given access to evening lessons and nighttime counselling.

Co-Curricular Activities
The Takshashila Vidyapith Sangeet Natak Academy works to preserve the pure traditions of Indian music and dance while giving students opportunities for cultural growth. Our academy also promotes students performing plays and other dramatic works on stage. Additionally, Takshashila Vidyapith’s music department offers music classes and is associated with PRACHIN KALA KENDRA, Chandigarh.
GAMES & SPORTS
Since its beginnings, Takshashila Vidyapith has promoted holistic development and views athletics and physical fitness as vital complements to academic achievements. The unwavering character of our students and their enormous passion for sports allow us to enjoy success and development.
We offer sufficient opportunity for success in court sports like basketball, volleyball, and badminton as well as field events like football and cricket. Indoor activities like chess and carom have been well-provided-for. Sporting events take place during the final half hour of each school day, in addition to the game periods. There are other competitions for track events like sprints, jumps, throws, and shot puts. The Games Teacher directs the pupils, and all of the teachers and students contribute to a positive environment on the field.

Takshashila Vidyapith is designed to use its strong, modern infrastructure, carefully selected personnel, and high standards to achieve those lofty goals.
