The Motto of the school is Devotion, Light, and Knowledge that are the basic needs of education i.e. “Education kindles the ignorant souls.” The light of knowledge is like the golden rays of the sun which motivates towards the infinite wealth of education. The school motto is “a Lighthouse” which encourage to achieve knowledge through dedication and devotion.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHOOL
The aim of the school is the overall development of the students so as to build them a balanced and cultured citizen. The school believes that it will help children’s to grow and will make them as a responsible, disciplined, and self-controlled citizen.
The aim and scope of the school are as follows-

They have well- equipped Science Labs I.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Labs; Maths Lab.
Libraries
They have a large library which contains a large collection of books on different subjects, more than 20 magazines, journals, newspapers, and periodicals.
Sports
The school provides the facility for football, basketball, kabaddi, gatka, track, and events to strengthen the students.
Auditorium
The school has a large auditorium where various functions are organized and the students get the opportunity to show their talents and build their confidence.
Art and craft room
In this room, the students are taught creative activities like oil-painting, glass painting, and fabric paintings.
Medical Care
The school organizes regular medical and dental check-up camps. They have a medical room where the specialized doctors take care of the sick and injured children.

The school provides the hygienic foods to the student at an affordable rate.
Tagore Public School was established in the year 1975. It was found by Late Lala Puran Chand Gupta Ji- Municipal Commissioner in the year 1964, who left behind him the imprints of his values that the school follows on. He also established The Ludhiana Aggarwala Co-operative H’B Society Ltd. and was the founder of The Ludhiana Aggarwala Dharmashala.
The school is affiliated to C.B.S.E. They believe that education is just like a treasure, the more you share, the more you gain.
