About School:
Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda Vidyalaya, Chittoor, is one of the best boarding schools in Andhrapradesh. It was founded on June 11th, 2001, and is housed on a campus with open classrooms, science and computer laboratories, and a large library. Aside from classroom instruction, outdoor activities such as sports, games, yoga, and meditation are part of the daily schedule. Appropriate encouragement is given to natural talents in the arts and culture.
Because students and teachers share the same campus, a group of 25 students is closely monitored by a house parent (teacher) who lives in the quarters attached to the hostel. This results in individualized attention. The mess serves a well-balanced, nutritious vegetarian meal. Teachers accompany students to the dining hall to instill healthy eating habits. Therefore, teachers must constantly develop alongside students. They must put their words into action.
The school campus is spread across 50 acres of lush land in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, and is located in a serene and natural environment. It is located at an elevation of 760 metres (2,500 feet) and has a pleasant climate all year. Buses run frequently between Kuppam and Bangalore, Chittoor, Chennai, and Krishnagiri, among other places. The school is located 21 kilometres north of Kuppam Railway Station on Kuppam Palamaner National Highway-219 and is easily accessible by rail. Bengaluru International Airport is 130 kilometers away.
