SIS provides an extensive program divided into four levels. The Reggio Emilia approach has also been employed within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The pre-IGCSE curriculum in Grades 7 and 8 leads to the IGCSE program in Grades 9 and 10, which concludes in the Cambridge exams after Grade 10. 

The Singaporean curriculum is at the heart of learning at SIS. The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) program at SIS is meant to prepare students for the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), which begins in Grades 11 and 12.

Academic support includes enrichment, information literacy, programs for students with special needs and gifted children, and personal and career counseling.
