The school hostel is a home away from home for about 500 hostellers within the campus. They play, stay, dine, and study under the same roof. The students hailing from different cultures, and countries and belonging to different sections of society create an atmosphere that is global in nature.

Games & Sports
Sport pulls individuality away, revealing the character’s white skeleton. Players can get to know and test themselves through sport.
Sporting activities and games are an essential and required component of the educational process at Shivalik Public School in Mohali. The school has so far won every significant sporting event held in the city and has developed both national and international athletes .

Outdoors, on deco grass, all-weather floodlit basketball and volleyball courts encourage pupils to show off their abilities.
Six–A–Side
Our students train and groom on a clean, dust-free astroturf hockey pitch that was imported from the United States.
To further strengthen the Shivalik’s case for the title of DUST-FREE SCHOOL, a multisport complex with an estimated cost of 2.5 crores has been constructed. It contains grounds for playing cricket and football as well as a six-lane athletic track. New Zealand-made synthetic grass has been imported. The complex is unique in the Northern region and offers top-notch sporting amenities to its kids so that their developing athletic talent can develop to its full potential.
Indoor:
Our school includes a cutting-edge gymnasium with a Deco-turf tennis court, a badminton court, a table tennis court, and a fully-stocked fitness centre where many competitions at the state and national levels are held.
Specialised morning and evening sports academies provide the students with additional opportunities to perfect their talents outside of the usual school sports programme.
In this way, the word Shivalik has become a symbol of hope for the nation, giving all facilities for its burgeoning potential.

Using the 10+2 system, the coed, residential school Shivalik Public School in S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school’s 10-acre, expansive campus was built in 1976. The residential school has space for 500 kids and all the current conveniences.
The school has significantly improved the facilities already in place, which now include the first indoor deco-turf tennis court, an Astroturf hockey field, the largest state-of-the-art Auditorium in the northern region, and a multipurpose gym. It has grown into a significant regional educational and cultural hub throughout time.
