Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior

Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya was established in 1956. The school was inaugrated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad in the presence of their highness Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia, Maharani Vijayaraje Scindia and Mrs. Rajvanshi Devi Prasad. At the initial stage, the strength of the school was only 31 out of which 6 were the boarders. It is affiliated to C.B.S.E.

Class VI – IX The school admits girls in classes VI to IX through an All India Level Aptitude Assessments based on English, Hindi and Mathematics. The first Assessment is scheduled in the month of November every year for the session beginning 1st April of the subsequent year. A choice of approved centers is available for the November C.A.A. Subsequent vacancies are filled by assessment in Gwalior. Class XI A provisional admission is given to candidates on clearing an Assessment based on class X syllabus. It is confirmed on achieving the cut off in the Board result. Registrations are open from the month of July for the next session. If downloaded copy of registration form is used for the registration of the student, then a Demand Draft of Rs. 20,050/- (18,000/- for registration +Rs 2000/- for prospectus + Rs 50/- postal charges) drawn in favor of "Principal, Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior" should be sent with the form. The School sends an admit card for the aptitude assessment along with the registration number after scrutiny of the registration form. Students are not permitted to remain in the School on failing a public examination of Class X and Class XII.

ATTENDANCE- Students are only allowed to appear in the final exam if they maintain 90% attendance throughout their academic session. CORRESPONDENCE- All the details of the student like students class, address, house code etc. should be addressed to the Principal. Any change in their address or phone number should be informed to the Principal in writing. PAYMENT OF FEE- All the school dues must be paid in time for the half- yearly and final examinations. PERSONAL BELONGINGS- Students are responsible for all their personal belongings. They are not allowed to carry any type of banned items like cell phones, jewellery items, cameras and cosmetic items etc. PERSONAL ACCIDENT COVER- The school take care of every student as they provide physical training exercise in their daily routine to keep them physically fit. NEGLIGENCE OF SCHOOL RULES- Disobedience of school rules or any kind of misbehavior may lead to the withdrawal or suspension from the school.
