The Council for the Indian School Certificate Exams (CISCE) has approved Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School in Dharamshala as a Senior Secondary School (XI-XII). The school offers grades LKG through XII and is co-ed. It’s an academy for intermediate English. The Sidhpur district of Dharamshala has the school. In Sidhpur, the Sacred Heart Senior Secondary Institute was constructed. The Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary (SCJM) oversee running this community, which is a component of the Sacred Heart Schools.

To develop abilities and get the best out of each boy, the school has organisations, clubs, and societies that organise various events. These academic and co-curricular groups are an excellent method to explore or perhaps develop new student interests.

The Delhi Province of the sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary (SCJM), an international religious order founded in Belgium in 1803, operates Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School in Dalhousie. In response to the demands of the period, the Congregation was founded in the aftermath of the French Revolution.

Untold suffering was left behind by the conflict, including significant financial loss, numerous orphans and widows, sick and disabled individuals, mental patients, and others. This appalling situation shocked a famous young priest, Rev. Fr. P.J. Triest, in charge of the parish of Lovendegem, Gent, and he took the initiative to make things right.
