Library
The Library at the NGIPS campus is of intrinsic value to our student’s learning process as we consider it an area for proactive learning where students can access a wide range of resources for all their learning needs. The library’s collection and services are designed to help students improve their reading and research abilities, which will develop creativity and encourage them to become lifelong learners.
Children’s Play Area
Kindergarten school at NGIPS is full of creative activities, where learning through play happens and in turn, leads to healthy development. The purpose of outdoor learning is to increase a child’s responsiveness by allowing the children to interact, play, and meet new people. Through play, children investigate topics that encourage growth in a range of skill areas, including language, social, emotional, physical, and thinking skills.
The play area is a highly safe and child-friendly play zone equipped with non-toxic play equipment. In Kid’s play area, the children are kept in clean, secure, and beautiful surroundings, to provide them with a safe and comfortable learning environment.
Hostel Boarding
The Nalanda Gurukula International Public School is tucked away from the usual constraints of asphalt and concrete, far from the city it enjoys a scenic view surrounded by fruit orchards and a serene ambiance.
The NGIPS boarding welcomes class 1 to 10 students, in modern accommodation with a very comfortable and safe atmosphere. In the two distinct buildings, a total of 300 students (200 boys and 100 girls) can be accommodated.
In groups of five or six, boarders who are in the same grade or age share dorm rooms. All of the rooms are furnished with mattresses, bookcases, tables, closets, and bedside cabinets.
Each level has a dedicated hostel warden who is available all the time to the boarders. Inside the hostel, there are separate lounges for boys and girls that are furnished with entertainment options and indoor activities.
We make sure that our hostel students are intellectually and physically strong by:
Eating well
Studying well
Sleeping well
Getting good exercise

Sports Arena

The school encourages and promotes a variety of sports. Students are required to register for at least one sport. Tennis, table tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, throwball, cricket, badminton, swimming, and martial arts are among the sports that are offered.
The students have access to the best swimming, sports, martial arts, and athletic coaches who can teach them and make sure they develop into top performance.
There is no “no siesta” after school because the students are engaged in sports activities in the early nights. The students are kept busy during this time through the physical rigor of a Football game equally matched by other sports like Hockey, Cricket, Basketball, Tennis, or Badminton.
Our students have achieved medals in martial arts competitions at the national level and have won in various inter-school
- Prospectus & Application Form:
Parents can collect the school prospectus & application form by paying a fee. On completion and submission of the form, an entrance test will be given.
- Admission and Registration Process:
- Admissions at NGIPS is a two-step process – A written test followed by an interaction with the principal. Please include all the necessary documentation required for processing an application for admission.
- Pre-Nursery – An interaction will be conducted with the student and his/her parents.
- Class I onwards – A written test will be conducted followed by an interaction.
- Parents of shortlisted students will be informed by the school authorities. This will be followed by the registration procedure, submission of relevant documents, and payment of fees.

Nalanda Gurukula International Public School (NGIPS) is an ICSE school with a permanent affiliation providing education to students from diverse communities since 2009. NGIPS has a lush green campus spread over an area of 50 acres, located at the Mysore-Coorg border in Guddenahalli, near Golden Temple, Kushalnagar which is about 80 km from Mysuru and 230 km from Bengaluru.
