Modi Public School (MPS) in Siliguri, West Bengal, is a CBSE co-ed day and residential school. The MPS Siliguri school is a franchisee of Modi Public School, Kota, Rajasthan (a renowned group in the field of education).
MPS introduces the Joseph Rozario Culinary Academy, a first-of-its-kind in the region that allows students to learn and hone their culinary skills. The school provides numerous opportunities for students to improve their skills in art, music, dancing, swimming, oration, games, and other areas.
Nangalia Pokarmal Educational Society founded Modi Public School in Siliguri in 2014 to encourage children to give their all to achieve their goals.
Modi Public School, Siliguri plays an important and proactive role in the development of vulnerable young minds. We want to bring out the best in children and encourage them to explore and enjoy the joy of learning.
The school has its building. It has 17 classrooms for teaching purposes. All classrooms are in good working order, it has two additional rooms for non-teaching activities. The headmaster and teachers have their room at the school.
The school has a Pucca boundary wall. The school is wired for electricity. The school’s drinking water source is tap water, and it is operational. The school has 16 boys’ toilets that are in good working order. It has 15 girls’ toilets and is operational. There is a playground at the school. The school has a library with a collection of 1606 books. The school does not require a ramp to allow disabled students access to classrooms. The school has 24 fully functional computers for teaching and learning. A computer-aided learning lab is available at the school.
The procedure of admission in various classes and required eligibility for classes are as under:
- Filling up and timely submission of the admission form is mandatory.
- Interaction.
- Interview dates will be intimated in advance.
- Photocopy of the Birth Certificate of the child.
- Photocopy of the Mark sheet & Transfer Certificate of the previous school. (For Class 2 and above).
- Four recent passport-size color photographs of the pupil, one duly pasted in the application form.
- Photocopy of SC /ST /OBC/ PwD certificate
