Kuriakose Elias Boarding is a “Home away from Home” for K.E. School, Mannanam kids. The CMI Fathers of St. Joseph’s Province, Thiruvananthapuram, look after and guide the boarding.
We pledge to assist students in reaching new heights by providing them with:

The school grounds is surrounded by four boarding residences. K.E Boarding House for Boys, founded in 2000, houses boys from Class V to XII, whereas K.E Hostel for Girls, founded in 2012, houses girls from the Higher Secondary Section. Each sector has its own dormitory.
On campus, the hostels house 600 students. On all floors, there are handrails, restricted entrance routes, lifts, CCTV surveillance, fire systems, lightning guards and floor-by-floor monitoring. The institution is also close to several multi-specialty hospitals, the closest of which is Kottayam Medical College. The hostel Doctor makes regular visits to the hostel to address the inmates’ health concerns.

Kuriakose Elias School, Mannanam’s mission is to lead the nation’s younger generation to the ends of the world in the right Ways, Truth, and Life illuminated by the rays of the “Perfect Light and Wisdom” into the construction of a society based on the principles of equality, fraternity, justice, and social concerns.

The Kuriakose Elias Group of English Medium Schools was founded in 1991 and is located on the eastern slope of Mannanam Hill in Kottayam. The CMI Congregation and St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara’s first Sanskrit school were founded in Mannanam, a holy location. The schools, which are run by the CMI St. Joseph’s Province in Thiruvananthapuram, bear the name of this outstanding figure from Kerala’s 19th century.
On July 16, 1991, Kuriakose Elias School set out on its voyage as an unaided English Medium School, recognised by the Keralan government, with sections for upper primary and high school. The school introduced a kindergarten section and a nursery school in June 1995.The Higher Secondary Section (ISC) was later added to Kuriakose Elias English Medium School after it joined the ICSE board in February 2002.
The recognised State Syllabus was elevated to a Higher Secondary School in July 2002, including courses in science, commerce, and computer science. The ICSE Board and Kerala State are both connected with the group of two schools known as Kuriakose Elias English Medium School, which has distinct sections for each stream.
At the time of the interview, the candidates must be accompanied by his/her guardian and must produce the documents listed below:
- TC in the original
- Original certificate and mark list of the qualifying examination.
- Conduct certificate obtained from the institution last attended.
- Community certificate for the SC/ST students.
- Two passport-size photographs
- Application Submission
- Entrance Test
- Interview
- Registration & Fee Submission.
