While conventional teaching techniques have been crucial to our educational system, the landscape has completely transformed with the introduction of computers, interactive whiteboards, etc.
ACADEMICS
Children are encouraged to learn on their own and develop under the guidance of the teacher because the school chooses to believe that schooling should be such that it frees the human mind from the bonds of ignorance and guides it toward enlightenment. Education can and should be both a stringent and enjoyable method for the child. There are hours for supervised study. All boarders are members of a small tutor run by faculty members who are in charge of ensuring their safety and academic success.
HEALTH & MEDICAL CARE
The hostel has a licenced doctor who is assisted by a licenced nurse who works there full-time. Along with looking after the pupils’ health, the hospital also teaches them about hygiene and preventive care, which are crucial during the growing stage.
WI-FI CAMPUS CONNECTIVITY
The university has a 4 MBPS high-speed internet connection. For students and faculty to use internet connection everywhere in the college, hostel, and faculty homes, the institute has a 24×7 Wi-Fi facility on the college campus. Students have access to e-mail, web browsing, and the ability to upload and download web-based applications through a globally connected campus with cutting-edge IT infrastructure, computing, and communication capabilities. This connectivity also aids students in the preparation of projects and seminars.
ACTIVITIES
- The school provides encouraging opportunities for pupils to participate in a range of extracurricular activities. The teachers encourage the kids to pursue their interests and hobbies and to strengthen their collaboration and communication abilities.
- Every boarder is required to attend yoga and meditation courses.
- The pupils will occasionally be given guided tours of tourist attractions on holidays.
- There is a little library where girls can engage in reading, and the common room has a TV cable connection with limited channel viewing.
- Hostelers can take advantage of a monthly expedition with the hostel warden.
- Every boarder is welcome to have a birthday party at the hostel. At such occasions, a special dinner is served and they are permitted to have a dance party with their housemates.

By encouraging activities and sports on campus, a focus is placed specifically on the promotion of fantastic living and physics. Cricket, handball, volleyball, tennis, volleyball, athletics, kickboxing, and many more activities are offered to the pupils under the leadership of professional and competent physical training instructors, and the sight of children participating in diverse sports at dawn and twilight is lovely. Tournaments between houses and between schools are frequently held. At the National and State levels, ETS students are highly known for their contributions to the school’s athletic success.
Since its founding in 1871, Emma Thompson School has developed, enduring numerous tribulations and transitioning from a normal school to a high academic school for girls.
We give all students the chance to participate actively in the life of the school by giving them the chance to voice their opinions via our Student Council, which is made up of students from every class.
