Facilities
The facilities provided by the school are as follows-
Learning Resource Center
The school has a duplex library which contains the vast collection of books, CD’s, periodicals and journals of various subjects like literature, social science, business studies, science and technology, spiritualism and personality development. The second floor of the library is well-known as the reading section where the school organizes the D.E.A.R. program i.e. Drop Everything And Read.
Laboratories
The school has well-developed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Language, Computer Science, Mathematics and Psychological Library.
Sports Complex
They provide facilities for various games like Football, Lawn-tennis, Swimming, Table-tennis, Basketball, Cricket, Skating, Squash and Badminton which are trained by the professional trainers. Students are also trained in Kho-kho, Athletics, and Gymnastics.
Auditorium
The school auditorium is named as Maharana Pratap Auditorium which is a spacious hall with the seating capacity of more than 300 persons.
Hostel
The school hostel is divided into four sections i.e. Satyabhama house for girls of class III to XII, Vinobha house for boys of class III to VIII, Aurobindo house for boys of class IX and XI, Vivekananda house for boys of class X and XII. They are looked after their housemasters and wardens. They have six-bed dormitories for boys and two or three bedroom facility for girls. Each house has entertainment facility for students like TV, DVD player and indoor games.
It’s compulsory for the hostel students to undergo training in swimming (IX to XII) and skating (III to VIII) during morning hours and they have to practice certain games daily like handball, basketball, football, badminton, tennis, and table-tennis in evening hours. During holidays, the school organizes various competitions like greeting card making, clay modeling, debate, creative writing, painting etc. for the hostel students. They are also taken for trekking, watching movies and other for other activities.
Tours and Trips
Every year the school organizes various excursion trips and camps so as to make them confident, build in them the brotherhood nature and to make them as an independent citizen who knows his/ her responsibility.
Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan Vidhyashram was established in the year 1938 by K. M. Munshi. It is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.). They provide the education facility from Kindergarten class to Post Graduate, Research and offers subjects like Carnatic Music, Computer, Sanskrit, Business Management, Yoga and Journalism.
