Medical Facilities

The Hospital’s 10-bed infirmary is supervised by a resident physician and registered nurse. In addition to this, the school has arrangements with a nearby Hospital, situated very close to the school, which can be reached within 15 minutes for hospitalization, diagnosis, and other medical emergencies.

All the external expenses for the student’s health such as hospitalization, specialist’s consultation, special treatments, and diagnostic charges are collected from parents as actual, apart from the medical fees.

Health & Hygiene

    1. The school has an infirmary, a resident doctor, and trained Nurse to deal with injuries/ ailments.
    2. The student will be taken to the closest Apollo Hospital at Irba in the event of an emergency. Parents will be informed Immediately.
    3. There is a provision for Annual Health Check-up – (general/dental/eye, etc.).

Multipurpose Hall

The school has a big multipurpose hall which is used for events such as Debate/Elocution competitions, quizzing, meetings/concert, badminton tournaments, yoga classes, etc.

Boarding Houses

There are four hostels – Ranapratap, Abhimanyu, Bharat & Shivaji, and 4 Houses in the School, each hostel is under the charge of three Housemasters. Every hostel has a Hostel Superintendent who works with the housemasters to maintain the boy’s line, the hostel’s overall cleanliness, etc. To assist the Housemaster in maintaining order in the House, a few prefects are chosen from among the boys to serve in each house. It aids in their training for leadership.

We train students and conduct various activities like Music, Dramatics, Debate, Quiz, Extempore, etc to provide them with the best possible exposure at different levels. Every Saturday students debate on burning topics in the Assembly and leave the audience with food for thought.

Education Tours and Inter school Tournaments

Adventure courses and educational tours are essential components of education for the children’s overall development. Periodic educational visits are organised for students in Classes IV through XI to visit significant historical and architectural sites. Additionally, Vikas Vidyalaya regularly organizes picnics, campfires, and adventure sports like hiking and camping. Classes IV through VI students are taken on field trips and picnics in the neighbourhood. During the summer, educational tours and camps are planned for students in grades IV through XI to further their knowledge and have fun.

Hobby Classes

The persuasion of hobby classes is reserved for Sunday mornings. We offer Woodcraft, Music, Guitar, Drums, Painting, Photography, Model Making, Needlework, etc. to be pursued. In the end, students exhibit the outcome of the hobby classes during the Annual Day Exhibition.

Religious and Spiritual Life

The school does not preach any religion, nor has it ever held any religious and spiritual gatherings. Children learn and develop in this non-denominational, multicultural school without any pressure or fear.
