The administration of the school has created a thorough plan to improve security measures. Video surveillance is effectively used to monitor the entire school around-the-clock. Another issue is disaster management, since students are well-equipped to lessen any situation or event of this nature.

Multi Sports Complex

This makes it easier for the kids to play basketball, badminton indoors, table tennis, and roller skating. In addition, it boasts a gym with state-of-the-art apparatus.

Riding Area

Nabhaites are naturally born riders. PPS riders are renowned for having outstanding equestrian abilities. The expansive Riding Arena at PPS boasts an astounding 30 horses. Another noteworthy aspect of Riding Hall is that it regularly organises the IPSC Equestrian Meet, which draws between 10 and 12 teams and benefits from first-rate facilities.

Medical Infirmary

The school has two distinct medical infirmaries, with 16 beds in the senior infirmary and 2 beds in the junior infirmary, for the sick students and to make sure that pupils take their medications on time. Regular health examinations and vaccinations are administered.

Regular lectures are held by the junior people to educate the students on healthy living as part of their campaign to promote hygiene.

Laboratories

The block is home to well-equipped biology, chemistry, and physics labs where students conduct experiments as part of active learning.

Boarding

“The public boarding school is a community that was specifically designed for the aim of educating adolescents. Although it serves several functions, the home is a community. The day school serves many of the same objectives as the boarding school, but it isn’t a community in the same sense.”

Library

The majestic Darbar Hall of the former Maharaja of Nabha’s Secretariat is where the Jaisukh Lal Hathi Library is located. A wide variety of books are housed in the lovely teak-paneled hall to assist pupils in navigating the information age. The collection also subscribes to a number of magazines and encouraging students to take advantage of the frequently hosted book fairs in an effort to foster lifelong reading habits.

The school was founded in 1960 with the goal of providing ex-children, servicemen’s active-duty military members, and civilians with a high-quality public education environment. The then-chief minister of Punjab, Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, served as the driving force behind the opening of this school. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the President of India, publicly opened the institution in April 1961. The Post-War Military Reconstruction Fund first provided funding for the school, and the Government Of punjab also provided significant financial assistance and access to land and buildings once owned by ex-Nabha rulers (the Administration and Guest House).

Academics

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations is connected to the institution (CISCE).

Within the school is the counselling cell. Regular expert visits to the school assist the children choose the best job and stream for them based on their interests and skills. Students receive assistance in locating employment possibilities and associated information.

Infrastructure

The Punjab Public School is located in Nabha, Punjab, on a 50-acre site that is incredibly large and lush.
