Taurian World School (TWS) is a co-educational residential and day school in Ranchi, Jharkhand, founded by Amith Bajla in 2008 and promoted by the Taurian Group of Companies. TWS is affiliated with the CBSE education board and welcomes students from lower kindergarten through class XII. 

TWS believes in “enabling children to become capable citizens who will soar high to follow their dreams and aspirations.”

To make learning unique and engaging, the school follows the 5-E teaching model, i.e., engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate. Apart from offering special educational programs, TWS uses interactive models of teaching and activity-based learning to help every student grasp what is being taught. All students have access to modern home science, math, science, and language laboratories.

A classroom strength of 25 very well ensures that the student-teacher ratio does not cross 7:1 and students can easily reach out to their respective subject experts.

Campus 

The TWS school campus offers an ideal boarding and learning environment for children, away from the hustle and bustle of Ranchi. A 50-acre, the lush green campus is equipped with state-of-the-art transport facilities, air-conditioned buses for day scholars, and round-the-clock security on the campus. 

The scenic 50-acre campus has modern, well-equipped classrooms, comfortable dorms, an art gallery, a meditation center, a well-stocked library, a music room, a multimedia room, and an exploration room. Produced from the school’s in-house organic farm and dairy goes into creating a well-balanced diet for the students.

Other TWS facilities include badminton, basketball, squash, table tennis, and lawn tennis courts; designated fields for cricket, hockey, and soccer; a swimming pool; and facilities for horse riding, providing just enough for a boarding child’s needs.
