RULES AND REGULATIONS

Students have to follow certain protocols in the school premises-
Both students and the visitor’s are not allowed to meet each-other without the permission of the Principal.
Students are allowed to open their bank account in the State Bank of India. They can withdraw certain amount every week. They are also given certain amount by the school so as to teach them the importance of saving.
Students are allowed to write a letter to their parents once a week.
Items such as jewellery, watches, cell-phones etc. are strictly prohibited.
Parents can take their children with them only on the day as mentioned in the school calendar.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Computer Labs- The school has well-equipped computer labs which contains latest hp computer systems.
Health Centre- The school has its own health centre which provide medical facility during emergency conditions. They also provide the ambulance facility. Regular health check-ups of students are conducted every month.
24×7 High Speed Internet- The school provides internet facility with a speed of 2mbps to students which they can utilise during school hours.
Online facilities for Parents- This is a platform where parents can pay fees, see report cards, disciplinary report etc of their child.
Remedial classes for juniors- This is a special class which are organized for weak students.
Indoor-heated swimming Pool- This is one of the few schools of Uttarakhand which contains indoor heating swimming pool where students undergo training in swimming by the trained instructors.
CCTV & LCD TV’s- The school is under CCTV surveillence for the safety of the students. They also contain LCD Tv’s in every classrooms for the entertainment purpose.
Multi-Purpose Auditorium- They have the auditorium where various cultural programmes are organized. This is a place where they can also play badminton and watch movies.
Bakery- The school has its own bakery where fresh chappati’s and bread are made through chappati machine.

SPORTS

Along with the studies, the school makes sure to make students physically fit and active. It’s compulsory for the boys to run 2.5 km over the running track, popularly known as “Fox Hill Runs”. They also provide the various sports facilities like Swimming, Tennis, Gymnasium, Badminton, Cricket, Basketball, Hockey, Athletics and many more.

St George College is a premier boarding school in Mussoorie which was established in the year 1853. It was founded by the Capuchin Fathers. Later in the year 1894, the school was handed over to the Society of the Reverend Brothers of St. Patrick (Ireland). Bro. Stapleton was the first Principal of the school. It is boy’s residential and non-residential school that is spread over an area of 400 acres. The College is divided into two departments:
School Department: Grade IV to Grade X – Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (I.C.S.E.)
College Department: Grades XI and XII – Indian School Certificate (I.S.C.)
