The school library have many books, including subscriptions to over 35 periodicals and magazines. As part of the school’s open access policy, books are made available to students after school hours and on breaks.
Computer Lab
The college has an excellent Computer Lab with the latest computers to cater the needs of the ever-growing sophisticated information technology. We give each student access to a computer on a one-to-one basis.
Efficient power backup systems, access to the internet, and efficient lab assistance are the unique characteristics. In order to keep up with the increasingly competitive world, we constantly update ourselves.
Science Laboratories
The well-equipped physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories introduce the students to the latest advancements in research. Sophisticated modern equipment stimulates the learner to use the skills in the application of knowledge.
Residential Facilities
Hostel
Boys and females have their own hostels. Instead of living in big dorms, students live in roomy, airy, pleasant, and self-contained apartments with adjacent toilets and bathrooms. Four students usually share a room. Lockers, beds, mattresses, cushions, study tables, chairs, mirrors, book racks, etc. are all given in each room.
Boarding
Five dining halls and two kitchens combine to provide the students with hygienically prepared, nutritionally balanced cuisine. Food served is generally vegetarian but non-vegetarian food is served twice a week. Milk, eggs, and fresh fruit are regular on the menu. Additionally, the staff shares meals with the students.

Multiple opportunities and resources are offered to students’ for various co-curricular demands.. They are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities such as quizzes, Debate, Elocution, Extempore Speaking, Essay Writing, Pick and Act, Singing, and Dancing.
Literary and cultural competitions are often organized to find and recognize the students’ newest talent. The current situation calls for complete and effective personality development. Our institution works hard to achieve this admirable goal.
Sports Facility
At our college, equal importance is given to studies and sports to nurture the next generation into being academically strong and physically fit. We want our students to play effectively and lead healthy life. As a residential institution, we provide a variety of sporting and gaming activities.
Our swimming pool is well-equipped, so students can swim and relax completely.
We have a typical 200-meter track, which is great for athletic competitions. Students receive training for a variety of sports.
The school has basketball courts, seasonal cricket pitches for net practice, volleyball courts, football fields, and various types of indoor games. The students have access to a modern, multi-gym with treadmills, bikes, and free weights.
Every year, the State P.U. Board conducts a number of sports and games competitions for students.

To honour the late Sharada Madhav Pai, a woman with a strong spirit and noble values, the Dr. TMA Pai Foundation, Manipal built Sharada Residential School in 1988. The renowned visionary and founder of the International University town Manipal, her late husband Dr. TMA Pai, was her spouse.
More than 30 years after its establishment, Sharada Residential School continues to maintain its guiding principles of ensuring that every child develops holistically through a balance of academic and extracurricular activities, with the facilities and infrastructure required to guarantee that every child has the opportunity to identify and develop his or her talents.
The school’s motto is “acquiring knowledge, developing character, and obtaining wisdom.”
The Sharada Residential School is spread over 17.5 Acres of Land with a lush green environment. The entire campus is built on modern facilities with state of architecture buildings with a combination of the latest technologies. Multiple CCTV cameras are used to cover the entire campus. Beautiful exteriors and interiors made with the idea of knowledge and wisdom surround the campus.
