School Laboratory

Physics Lab

Physics students practice the activities of scientists in the laboratory, where they ask questions, perform procedures, collect data, analyze data, answer questions, and think of new questions to investigate.

Chemistry Lab

The chemistry laboratory is intended to supplement and illustrate chemical concepts covered in the lecture portion of the course, as well as to introduce important laboratory techniques and foster analytical thinking.

Biology Lab

Biology studies life. A biologist’s job may appear to be all about growing plants and observing animals, but the core of this discipline is focused on much smaller structures: cells and genes. To do so, new technologies and complex devices, such as those found in a biology lab, are required.

Computer Education

Two modern and well-equipped computer labs are managed by highly qualified teachers at the institution. The computer-to-student ratio is kept at 1:2 to ensure maximum benefit and guidance.

Atal Tinkering Lab

The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) is a central government of India initiative to foster scientific temperament, innovation, and creativity among Indian students. It is a step toward a new India, one that embraces and encourages novel and innovative ideas and inventions.

Library

The school library is well-stocked. The library not only provides high-quality study materials, but it also has Librarians who are experts at finding and organizing information. Aside from books related to the curriculum and competitive examinations, the school library also contains books on Science, History, Arts, Philosophy, and other subjects that are important for a student’s overall development. The library also provides students with daily, weekly, and monthly editions of magazines, encouraging self-study and raising awareness.

THE HOSTEL

From class 5 onwards, a lodging facility is available on the school grounds. Residential rooms with all necessary amenities are provided in the three massive Dormitories, namely ‘Narendra Niwas,’ ‘Bhaurao Bhawan,’ and ‘Vivekananda Nivas,’ which are located beside the school’s main building.

MEDICAL FACILITIES (INFIRMARY)

The warden regularly monitors the students’ health. On the hostel grounds, there is an unusable infirmary. Seven days a week, two doctors (homeopathic/allopathic general practitioners) visit the hostel. In the event of an emergency, students are transported to a nearby hospital or nursing home, or a specialist, depending on their needs. Parents are kept up to date on the status of their children regularly.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Sanatan Dharma Vidyalaya is an English medium school in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a CBSE day and boarding school. The teaching method is based on standards established by the Central Board of Secondary Education in New Delhi. The school offers education from the Play Group to the 10 +2 level.

On July 23, 1972, the governing authority designated the institution as a Junior High School. Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad U.P. recognised it as an Inter College for the science stream. Since 2013, the school has been affiliated with CBSE.
