Pathways World School

Classroom Learning

Interactive Whiteboards & Projection Screens
To make classroom learning more exciting and engaging for the students, Pathways has now introduced Interactive Whiteboards as a medium to communicate and connect with the students in their language.

Pathways School has taken an unprecedented step by integrating information and communication technology (ICT) with classroom teaching. The teachers will be using a digital format to prepare lessons, and interactive whiteboards will be used to conduct lessons in the classroom.

Laboratories

Pathways School teaches both its theory lessons and practical experiments in the science laboratory itself. The Pathways school is very well equipped with state-of-the-art research industry standard laboratory equipment that enables the students to attain the highest level of excellence.

Studios

Pathways provide studios for dance, music, and theatre for ample practice and to expand the artistic qualities of students.

Design & Technology Workshop

The Design & Technology laboratory at Pathways is equipped with industry-standard machines and equipment, enabling them to pursue individual projects. With constant guidance and motivation from teachers, students are able to hone their skills to perfection.

Atriums

Pathways School houses a special atrium in each academic building, aesthetically done with skylights and a glazed finish to enable an infusion of natural light, making it a prominent place well suited for socializing and group learning. We believe that besides classroom contact, education prospers with a lot of informal contact outside the classroom, therefore providing a space like these atriums that act as knowledge centers for students and teachers alike. These atriums also have a mini amphitheater for any activities or outdoor classes.

Amphitheatre

Another striking feature of the school is the majestic amphitheater where most of the functions and school events like Graduation Day, Founder’s Day, etc will take place. The amphitheater will be able to accommodate more than 1000 people on any occasion

Library & Media Centre

Pathways encourage a love for reading. Our Library cum Media center not only has a vast range of real books but also quite a storytelling corner. We use a special library management software that enables the students to access library resources online, from anywhere.

In the year 2003, Pathways World School, Gurgaon, was the first school to open under the Pathways umbrella.

At the time, the institution was the first-day cum boarding school in North India to join the IB program.

Pathways Group runs a chain of many international K12 and pre-primary schools in the Delhi-Gurugram-Noida region. The curriculum includes the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes of Geneva’s International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO).

The group now has five locations, including three international K12 schools and two pre-primary schools. Pathways School Gurgaon and Pathways School Noida, the other two K12 campuses, both opened in 2010. In the year 2012, the group entered the pre-primary segment with the brand name “Pathways Early Years.”

While preserving the best in traditional Indian and international education and culture, Pathways has chosen a student-centered system with ample opportunities for project work and discovery learning, guided by a well-qualified international teaching faculty with generous access to quality in-service training both in India and overseas.

To ensure that all students’ talents are developed to the full, the schools apply the Multiple Intelligences approach, developed by Dr. Howard Gardner of Harvard University.

The school’s ideas and plans were designed by national and international specialists. They chose the term “Pathways” to represent Howard Gardner’s many learning pathways. In North India, Pathways is the only IB continuum school network.

Pre-Primary Children’s Pathways Early Years Program

The Primary Years Programme (Pre-Nursery to Grade 5), the Middle Years Programme (Grade 6 to 10), and the Diploma Programme are all part of the International Baccalaureate (Grades 11 & 12).

Pathways were North India’s first ‘IB Continuum School’

Parents may apply for admission to the current year at any time during the year and will be interviewed if a spot becomes available. The admission process starts with the registration of the students. The application form with the necessary documents is sent to the school. Parents are invited to visit the school with prior permission and are requested to be frank in providing information on the admission application form. Any negative information, whether academic or behavioral, will not be used to deny any admission request. Any of this information will assist the school in creating a suitable environment for your child once he or she is admitted. Any incorrect information or hiding of facts that are discovered later may result in admission cancellation. We’ve made the interview as pleasant and non-threatening as we can. It is normally supervised by the Head of Admissions, the School Director, the respective Principal, etc. The purpose is to learn about the student’s educational development, use of language, social skills, academic enthusiasm, and extra-curricular interests. In the interview, we seek to find out what the student knows, understands, and enjoys.
