Curriculum

The School follows the curriculum of all India Secondary and Senior Secondary Examination of the CBSE. The medium of directions is English. Hindi is taught as the second language till Class VIII. Sanskrit, French, and Spanish are present as third languages. In classes IX and X, there is a favourite between Hindi, Sanskrit, and French as a second language. Text and exercise books are provided in the school for the convenience of parents.
Vision

Based upon the Bible, from Luke, chapter2, verse 52, we envision each child growing like the Lord Jesus: in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. As they ripe into responsible citizens, they will live spiritually, serve effectively, and contribute positively.

The Mount Carmel School was established on 10th July 1972. From these humble beginnings, the school grew into four surrogate houses and then into two beautiful buildings that house nearly 2600 students. Recognized by the Directorate of Education, and affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, the school has been contributing educated citizens to the nation since the previously short group in 1982.

The Junior School, located in the D block of Anand Niketan, houses pupils from Nursery to Class III, and the Senior School, situated in the A block, from Classes IV to Class XII.

At the Senior Secondary level, we cater to all three streams, primarily Science, Commerce, and Humanities. There is provision for teaching subjects such as Entrepreneurship and Theatre studies. Plans for forwarding expansion are in pipeline.
