NCC
Gurukul Kurukshetra also offers NCC as an optional subject in 10+2 CBSE in Haryana. As part of the syllabus, the students learn about Armed Forces, Map Reading, Field Craft, Battle Craft, Weapons & Equipment, Military History, Communication, National Integration, Drill, Weapon Training, Disaster Management, Social Awareness & Community Development, Health & Hygiene, Environment Awareness & Conservation, Adventure, Obstacle Training, Personality Development, and Leadership, etc.
SPORTS
There is a well-equipped multi-purpose gymnasium hall to ensure optimum physical development. 24/7 services are provided by coaches for a variety of sports, including football, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, gymnastics, handball, and riding horses. There are separate, large grounds accessible to promote the atmosphere of true sportsmanship. The path to become an international shooter is provided by an innovative shooting range. Judo, Karate, and boxing are more sports that can be used for self-defence. It provides a sizable pool and game rooms that are well-equipped. As a result, it has been discovered that since its founding, it has produced players on a national and international level who have given honour to its alma mater.

Swami Shardhanand Ji founded Gurukul Kurukshetra in 1912 with the ambitious objective of establishing Indian ethos and scientific temperament in young minds. Since its inception, Gurukul Kurukshetra has been on a mission to provide public school education from its expansive 40 Acres campus to create a safe, secure, happy, and stimulating learning environment to instill respect, and compassion in each student and equip him for success throughout his life.
The school is in Gurukul Kurukshetra, next to the third gate of the Kurukshetra University in Haryana. The CBSE is connected to the school.
