Our Motto
“Service before self” is our motto. The effort and dedication that go into establishing a better institution with a noble aim are vividly reflected in Delhi Public School’s motto. It serves as a continual reminder that the DPS spirit always places the welfare of others above one’s own. The foundation of DPS philosophy has always been service toward an enlightened path; a philosophy that shows a willingness to serve others voluntarily, politely, and selflessly.

The Indian culture and the motto “Service before Self” are celebrated in our school. Co-curricular activities, in our opinion, are just as significant as academics in developing confidence. We think that by providing possibilities for growth, we can help children become global citizens.

Hostel
The DPS Residence is a fully air-conditioned hostel. With residential teachers and a trained hostel warden, it houses both boys and girls Grades 4 and up are required for eligibility for hostel entrance. The hostel has both a dormitory and room facilities.

Students of Grades III to VI will follow the “Dual Major Activity System” where each student is required to enroll in an Arts Major and a Sports Major. (Options will be confirmed only after an aptitude test).
- Students are expected to wear the prescribed Sports/Activity uniform for all activities at school.
- Practices for the various cultural activities and school sports teams are organized before/after regular school hours.
- Students of Grades K to VI will be offered swimming/aerobics classes during the school day. Children will have to carry their swimming costumes, towels, and swimming cap duly labelled with the name, class, section, and address in a separate bag.
- The child will be responsible for his /her swimming gear/school uniform in the pool area.
- Students should bring a medical certificate if he /she is not to use the swimming pool.
- Evening coaching is available for interested students from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

Application forms are available online both online and in the admin office. (Incomplete forms will not be accepted) The following documents are to be submitted with the application form:
- Two recent passport size (6×4) photographs of the student.
- A copy of the Birth Certificate. (In case the child’s name is not there on the Birth Certificate kindly provide an affidavit stating the name of the child)
- A copy of the parent’s and student’s Aadhar card
- Passport in the name of any of the parents or child
- Certificate required for proficiency in Games/ Co-Curricular/ Outstanding Achievements. (If any)
- Copy of mark sheets of last annual exams. (Grade 2 above)
- The hostel application form must be filled out for hostel admission.
Annual Fees = 1,95,000 /-
DPS KOLLAM, the first DPS in Kerala, is located at Meeyannoor, 18 kilometres from Kollam, in a peaceful and beautiful setting. It is a day and residential boarding school. It also offers a day-care facility. It is co-educational and comprises a diverse community of teachers and students. Our school offers the CBSE curriculum with English as the primary language of teaching. The school is dedicated to encouraging students’ critical thinking, self-assurance, and self-discipline.
