Workshops

Under the aegis of the DPS Society, DPS Guwahati has been promoted by the Gyan Sarovar Foundation which is a CBSE-affiliated English medium, the co-educational school that opened its door for the first group of students on April 21st, 2003.

The brilliant educator Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, then Vice President of India, laid the foundation stone for the institution at Mathura Road in 1949 with the goal of meeting the need for education among global citizens and with the slogan “Service Before Self.” The extensive expertise of six decades has developed the DPS Society. a non-profit, non-proprietary organisation dedicated to improving education. The advancement of each person, each community, and the entire country is facilitated by society’s provision of education. Every student here is the centre. The development of a student focuses on the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and aesthetic levels. Student learning is encouraged through a spirit of inquiry and completion. Students’ growth is promoted through empowerment in school teams, career guidance, and counselling. About 140 schools in India and 20 schools outside of India support the process through a developed school-parent relationship for the benefit of both parties.

DPS Guwahati has a six-year track record of success and pioneered the idea of high-quality education. Today a preferred route to many parents in the NE Region who find school surrounding is ideal for their children to spend 12 years of school education. While we have already carved a niche in NE Region, it aspires to be recognized as India’s most progressive school. We aim to achieve this by ensuring that all our activities are relevant, innovative, and responsive to the members associated.
