MEDICAL FACILITIES
The school has a well-equipped seven-bedded Infirmary to address the medical problems of the students. The round-the-clock emergency medical facility is available at the Infirmary promoting a sense of safety and care. Qualified doctors visit regularly for comprehensive check-ups and expert advice on any serious and communicable disease and are ably assisted by the school health officer and a trained assistant who are on call 24 hours a day. The students are admitted to a modern, multi-specialty hospital in the case of an emergency.
About Hostel
The well-ventilated dormitories of the fully air-conditioned girls’ hostel are spacious, carpeted, fully furnished and have been created in a way to make the boarders’ life comfortable. Each student has their own box-style bed, as well as a wardrobe. Every dorm comes with a well-sanitized washroom which is meticulously maintained and has running hot and cold water.
A well-maintained, modernized laundry system is set in a gurukul for clean & hygienic washing of clothes.
The hostel is fly and mosquito-proof and has marble flooring and a hygienic environment. Recreation of students is taken care of through a well-equipped common room which has a TV, LCD, comics, periodicals, etc.
Co-Curricular Activities
The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including vocal classical music, debates, quizzes, drama, pottery, art, and craft. Of course, this is in addition to the wide range of sports interests that are catered to including Karate, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Handball, Basketball, Softball, Badminton, Volleyball, Skating, and Swimming.
A very effective life skills programme that promotes leadership, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and communication talents is also in existence.
Professional singers, dancers, painters, craftspeople, theatrical directors, photographers, coaches, and instructors are occasionally invited to give short-term seminars to the students.
Sports & Physical Fitness
Students are invited to play games of their choice while learning about the value of outdoor fitness. They learn the value of being gracious in defeat and modest in victory. It has large open fields available for track, events and games like Archery, Football, Field hockey, Volleyball, Karate, Handball, Baseball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Gymnastics, Basketball, Tennis Courts, and Skating Rinks.

Chaman Vatika Gurukul is an English-medium girls boarding school in Ambala that was established in 1991 and is associated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Managed by the Chaman Vatika Educational Society, the school offers classes from the primary section (class V) through senior secondary sections (class XII).
The 27.5 acres of lush green land on campus is wrapped in a calm and pollution-free environment, 4 km from Ambala City on Chandigarh – Ambala Highway. The fully air-conditioned campus consists of separate blocks of building for the residential purpose (hostel), study, and other purposes.

- Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school, which should be a recognized school, affiliated with the All-India Board or a State Board of Education. Transfer Certificates must be signed by DEO if transferred from other states.
- A medical certificate from a qualified registered doctor showing the record of vaccination/ immunization etc. as well as mention of any ailment or health condition about which the school ought to know.
- 8 Passport size Photographs of the student
- 2 Passport size photographs of each parent and guardian
- Proof of residence of the child (Copy of Ration card / Voter’s ID / Passport).
- In case a border is adopted, parents will have to produce an attested copy of the adoption certificate issued by the competent authority. In the case of divorce/separation, the parent who is admitting the child will have to produce a copy of the custody of the child certificate issued by the competent law officer.
- Aadhaar cards of students as well as parents/ guardians
- PAN Card of the parents
- Valid student Visa and passport with minimum 6 months validity in case of Foreign Nationals
- Valid Passport and OCI certificate in case of NRI students
