Basant Panchami in all its form and glory was celebrated at Springfield World School, Vidisha. Principal Shri Karan Rana initiated the celebrations with the prayer of goddess Saraswathi. In honour of the deity, holy songs were sung. The goddess of wisdom was presented with flowers. Prasad was given to the pupils. Students joyfully celebrated Basant Panchami, prayed to the goddess of knowledge and wisdom to bless their studies and keep them motivated and enthusiastic so that they can perform well in the Board exams. They arrived dressed in yellow and carrying delicacies. Students participated in a variety of craft activities, including the creation of colourful kites, preparing Basant Panchami delicacies, making paper fun birds, and taking quizzes with enthusiasm and celebrate the age-old tradition of welcoming the spring season.
