Food

All dishes are fresh on campus many times per day using locally sourced or produced food since we believe that we are what we eat. Children also treat themself to freshly picked fruit from the numerous campus trees during certain seasons!

The classrooms

Amber Valley has a relaxed atmosphere where kids can feel at ease and cognitively sharp; the architecture is a deliberate break from the frightening traditional architecture. Our 700 square foot classrooms are well-ventilated and flooded with natural light. Students are frequently seen reading, writing, having talks, or just taking in their surroundings outside of class in various places of the classroom. The Junior School’s classrooms are cheerful and decorated with colourful student-created art.

The Labs

Our science labs are roomy, well-lit, and furnished with top-notch equipment to support students in their practical work.

Library

The library faces an expansive valley with distant hills visible, providing some breathtaking vistas. It’s the perfect spot to relax with a book, take in the scenery, or just take some time to think. We encourage our pupils to spend some time here, engaging with the world of books and reading, as there are hundreds of titles for kids of various ages.

The Dorms

The dorms, which are intended for leisure and recreation, offer sizable windows with a view of the valleys and are surrounded by trees. Common areas are purposefully created to promote informal and comfortable interactions.

The Dining Community

The huge, light-filled Dining Hall has tables set up in tidy rows, making mealtimes both orderly and family-friendly. Each meal is freshly prepared every single day in the kitchen facilities and bakery, which are located next to the dining area. The dining hall and kitchens are kept immaculately hygienic and clean for every meal thanks to a regular cleaning schedule.

Chikmagalur’s Amber Valley Residential School was established in 2004. It is a coeducational residential school connected to the Karnataka Pre-University Board and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi.

Limestone structures with tiled roofs, gardens, open courtyards, and terraces can be found on the 45-acre school site. There are 650–700 square foot well-ventilated classrooms that can hold no more than 25 students; the classrooms also have an adjacent open terrace. Primary classrooms contain comfy bedding for play and sleeping as well as adjoining lavatories. Every classroom has an area for computers and educational materials, as well as open lockers for books.

The school has two separate music rooms, a music studio, a dance studio, facilities for art and craft, and a theatre. It also has well-stocked labs, a conference room, an amphitheatre, a telescope tower, and two separate music rooms.

The school also has top-notch spaces for board games, chess, carom, and table tennis, among other indoor sports. A 400-meter athletic track, a 400-meter volleyball court, a basketball court, a tennis court, a football field, and a gymnasium are among the outdoor sporting facilities. The school also takes its students on weekend hiking excursions.

Document’s Required

No enrollment will be granted without a Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from the last institution the applicant attended, officially countersigned by an appropriate educational body.

(a) Character Certificate: The applicant is required to produce a conduct certificate from the most recent school attended.

(b) Certificate of Birthdate .

For candidates from other boards who are applying for admission to class XI, they must present a migration certificate.

(c) Require a second of the mark sheet.

(d) Passport-size photos.

NRI Students must present the following documents:

    • A passport and visa photocopy
    • Proof of registration from the Indian Embassy
    • The previous school’s diploma or certificate of completion
    • A character reference from your former institution
    • A certified true copy of each of the most recent School Reports from the last three academic years, in English.
    • A bank draught or pay order for the aforementioned sum
    • Any certificates of merit
    • A single certified copy of the child’s original birth certificate.
